Phase 3: Going the Distance

This is the edge—the wall— the place where you meet your true self.

  • Topics: First-time marathon training, fine-tuning nutrition, mastering mindset techniques for race day and life, and solidifying long-term sobriety strategies. This phase culminates in your chosen marathon or personal endurance challenge.

  • Goal: Long runs ramp up. Mental demons show up. This phase is about persistence, reframing discomfort, and anchoring in the new you.

Phase 4: Trust the Training

This is where you rest, visualize, surrender… and run.

  • Topics: Rest without guilt, planning the course, mental rehearsal, gear check, letting go of perfection, celebrating the transformation, and race-week go time!

  • Goal: Trust the process, celebrate how far you’ve already come, and go out and have a great first marathon!
